Sparking compassion in veterinary care

How often do we get to see a pet’s real personality at the vet clinic? Even when we bring our own pets to work, stress completely transforms the playful, happy cats and dogs we know and love to terrified patients that can be challenging to handle.

For too long, we veterinary professionals have focused on what needs to get done medically without thinking about how we’re interacting with our patients. It’s also easy to lose connection with patients when they’re hiding, fleeing, trying to bite, or doing all three. But every patient is someone’s pet, and learning more humane ways of approaching them in the clinic is the future of veterinary care.

Flux Veterinary provides education, training, consulting, and relief support for compassionate vet clinics and their staff.
